Crime and Punishment but set in NYC and Roskolnikov is a 13 y.o. A tale of friendship, obsession, sorrow and kindness. It took time to get invested but it was SO worth it!

Private school, fucked up rich kids, philosophical discussions but keeping it short, sexual tension but not sure why and murder mystery as a cherry on top.
